Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

Since 1977, Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center has been providing critical services to the community. It is an incredible honor to realize how many of the elderly and their families have placed their trust in us.

Baptist is blessed to have so many exceptional people, past and present, that have devoted themselves to our mission. We are grateful to our to staff, volunteers,  our board of directors, churches, families, and the community for helping make this facility one of the finest and most recognized long term residential and short term rehabilitation centers in our area. In November of 2017 we celebrated our 40th anniversary of “People Caring for People.” BHNRC has now been serving the community for 42 years and we look forward, with great optimism, to the next 42 years.

To truly experience our work and mission, you have to visit and witness first hand the very special place our residents call home. You need only to walk our halls and feel the sense of compassion and dedication that our caregivers exude. See firsthand the gentle, healing touch of a nurse or nurse’s assistant. Talk to the dietary staff members as they carefully ensure that food is appealing to the eye and the palate. Witness the precise and deliberate movements of a maintenance or housekeeping employee as they make sure that equipment is working well and that our building is immaculate. The dedication, compassion and teamwork at Baptist is what makes this community so special. Our staff have been here for many years and consider their work a “calling”.

As healthcare evolves, Baptist will continue to rise to the challenge and be recognized as a leader in the field. Baptist believes at its core that everything worth doing is worth doing well. To this end, Baptist has embarked on a journey to become a Center of Excellence. That is, to become the leader of long term care and subacute rehab services.
