When you choose Baptist Health’s outpatient services as your therapy provider, you can expect individualized care developed for your specific needs and goals. Our team of therapists want to help you maximize your recovery and speed up your return to your regular daily activities at home.
Our outpatient staff includes licensed and competent physical and occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, and admitting specialists. When appropriate, therapists collaborate as a team to best address needs of the persons served.
Our therapists are in close contact with the patient’s physician and inform him/her of thepatient’s progress and status.
- Physical therapy restores function for individuals who have experienced neuromuscular or skeletal dysfunction.
- Occupational therapy assists individuals with adapting to their social and physical environment, improving their functionality.
- Speech-language pathology addresses communication and swallowing dysfunction.
